Swiss Wave The Album (Off Course, 1980)

This is the first swiss punk and wave compilation including the original version of "Eisbär". At the end of the song you can here a very strange saxophon played by Claudine Chirac (Starter). Because she never was an official member of the band and no one wanted to share earnings of the single edition with her, the saxophon was cut...

Pop punk band from Lucerne (Switzerland), the LP and the two 7'' Singles were released in 1984. MAD released their first 7'' (Gäld+Liebi/Hey Du; CBS) in 1980 and existed until 2000 (or 2002??)...
